New paper published with PhD student Ben Seleb in Royal Society

We used high-speed video of sprint sled dogs and a mathematical model to show that load-pulling dogs frequently switch between rotary and transverse gallops, with transitions driven by targeted modulation of swing-leg stiffness. Read the paper here.
